The Optimal Link State Routing Protocol (OLSR) is developed for mobile ad hoc networks (MANET). It operates as a table driven and proactive protocol. OLSR is simple but performs well in MANET. This Master thesis deals with the implementation of basic OLSR and improved SRMSB-OLSR under Linux OS.Considering the background of mobile ad Lacoste Polo Shirts hoc network and principles of OLSR routing protocol, a concrete scheme about OLSR implementation under Linux OS was presented. In addition, several key technologies to solve difficulties encountered during the implementation of OLSR were detailed. Then we built test beds around our laboratory and tested Cheap Lacoste Polo Shirts implementation. The results proved that OLSR implementation, which supports both chi hair straightener and IPv6, is feasible and efficient. Consistent with the basic principles of OLSR, the implementation proposed can adapt dynamic network topology changes due to appearance, disappearance or mobility of the nodes in the network.Based on the OLSR implementation and chi straightener multipath routing schemes at home and abroad, an improved SRMSB-OLSR solution which integrates multi-path and bandwidth-aware mechanisms was proposed. SRMSB-OLSR solution offers both single-path and chi flat iron multi-path bandwidth-aware routing service. Similar to OLSR protocol, the routing tables are built by the single-path bandwidth-aware routing algorithm with the objective of minimizing the hops and bandwidth bottleneck of each path. And the multi-path bandwidth-aware routing, improved on signal-path bandwidth-aware cheap ralph lauren polo shirts routing algorithm, could find multiple disjoint-paths to the same destination. After implementation, we tested both solutions in real MANET environment. The results demonstrated that SRMSB-OLSR solution can improve the performance of network traffic transmission and load balance.
